Vazira Uzakova, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Uzbekistan
As a member of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, I had the privilege of taking part in a Staff Mobility for Teaching within the framework of the Erasmus+ program in September 2025 at Wyższa Szkoła Kadr Menedżerskich University in Konin, Poland.
During the mobility program, I had the opportunity to conduct classes with highly motivated students of the university. We discussed the latest trends in economics and exchanged our ideas. Additionally, I introduced the students to Uzbekistan, its ancient history, and its rich culture.
I also had the opportunity to attend the university’s inauguration ceremony, which was organized at a very high level. After the ceremony, we discussed with the university authorities the next steps of our collaboration and ways to further enhance internationalization. All university staff were very polite and respectful, which made my visit warm and pleasant.
Regarding the city, Konin is a very quiet and safe place with many green spaces and forests. I had an amazing time there. I also had the chance to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Licheń, where I learned a great deal about its history. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of the International Department of Wyższa Szkoła Kadr Menedżerskich University for organizing such an unforgettable mobility.
For the last, I would like to thank the organizers of the Erasmus+ program for providing opportunities for university staff to strengthen their professional capacities, share experiences and ideas, explore new cultures and traditions, and learn about the history of the host countries.
